Built on East 12th.
From a folding chair on Tariq's porch in 2018 to a four-chair shop on East 12th. Same haircuts. Same neighborhood. Same patience for whoever walks through the door.
The shop opened with one chair and a borrowed shears off Craigslist. Tariq cut hair on his porch for two years before he could afford the storefront — neighbors, his cousin's friends, the high schoolers who'd skate by on Friday afternoons.
Three chairs got added when Dev, Marisol, and Jamal came on. They don't take card surcharges, they don't upsell pomade, and they don't rush a kid's first haircut. The thing that hasn't changed since the porch is the rule: you sit down here, we make sure you feel right when you stand up.
If you've never been in, walk in. We'll squeeze you in between appointments, throw on something good on the speakers, and send you out cleaner than when you came.

We're on East 12th between Chicon and Poquito, in the brick storefront with the red door and the open sign that's almost always on. Park on the street or the gravel lot behind us.
Walk-ins are how the shop runs — we keep two chairs open for walk-ups every day. Book if you want a specific barber and time.
